RESIDENT EVIL 6 TRAILER IMPRESSION

What's so exciting about killing zombies and intriguing story lines?  Everything.  If you're a fan of the Resident Evil series at all, you are probably still wiping the drool off the side of your mouth.

Here's a quick look on the latest and greatest upcoming Resident Evil horror game:

Graphics: Although the graphics are up to par, Capcom could have done better.  The graphics here are comparable to Raccoon City Outbreak, which by today's standards is nothing impressive.  It also seems like a possibility that Capcom sacrificed graphics for content. but that is something we will have to wait and see.  Personally, it doesn't seem to matter how good games look now-a-days, I think game companies are just looking to push out content, which to sum it up gives a hard slap to those who appreciate the visuals department especially for a large company like Capcom.

Music: Always up to par with the game environment, the Resident Evil series does not faulter when it comes to suspenseful music and mood setting.

Story Line: From the looks of it Leon is definitely going to be a major threat to these blood thirsty, leg limping, carcasses.  He will be paired up with Helena Harper and the game will be play as a traditional horror game, let's hope that will take the form of the original Resident Evil games.   Other major players that show up are few of fan favorites, Chris Redfield, Ada Wong, and Sherry Birkin.  It looks like Capcom isn't hiding any secrets either and are revealing a few interesting new characters like Wesker's very own son, Jake Muller.

The big question is, "Why is Capcom revealing so much and what are they trying to achieve by doing that?"  Should I be knowing this much?  Ugh, crazy.  I'm looking forward to this game coming out in the latter part of the year.  What do you think?

SOCOM 4 BETA IMPRESSION

Hi everyone,

A good friend of mine convinced me to play the Socom 4 beta last night.  And from the looks of it, it's impressive graphically speaking, but let's see what this game brings to the table.

As someone who's never played Socom before, the menu screen can be a little intimidating.  Unfortunately for the newbies here, the game is only available in Online Mode and that's where the competition is at.  Hopefully, I can show a bit of my skill and not die too much from the onslaught of all the male testosterone flowing in the game.

Hehe, sorry for the short post but this game's calling my name.
